What does Yield Potential (YP) mean?

The YP data layer combines elements of biomass (VF) and general plant health (Vegetation Stress) in a proprietary formula to provide a more accurate estimate of long term crop potential than any of the individual data products above. It is important to note that YP is not a yield prediction, but a non-dimensional relative measure of potential. When indexed against specific seed types and conditions, YP is the best overall correlator to end-of-season yield.
