A damaged cable or loose connection can be the cause of no AIS lights, long preflight checks, or missing data from a flight. Please check the following to help eliminate the cable as the cause of the issue.
- Insert the cable into the sensor and AIS until you feel a slight “click”. Gently pull the connector to ensure that it is locked in snug.
- Inspect each of the cable for loose pins. (Missing pins are ok because we do not populate all of them)
