When you swap batteries in your aircraft, the SlantRange sensor will shut down. To resume collecting data, you'll need to reboot the sensor and prepare a second data collection.
For the sensor, this means following the steps of the pre-flight checklist, including:
-
- Power on hand controller and aircraft.
- Wait for solid three lights on AIS indicating RTK fix.
- Begin data capture by pressing the button on your AIS. A solid yellow light will appear for a few seconds indicating camera initialization; wait for blinking green light indicating data capture.
- Resume mission in your flight planner.
When you're processing your data, it will appear as two separate collections on your SD card. If you’re uploading data yourself, you will need to combine the images into a single folder.
SlantRange Tip: If you need to combine multiple datasets into a single folder, copy images from the second folder into the first.
If we typically process data for you, make sure you upload both folders, let us know that both folders are from the same collection, and we'll handle the rest.
