DJI Pilot is an alternative to Measure Ground Control, that can be used for all SlantRange sensors on both Android and iOS. When using DJI Pilot the user must enter their sensor into the flight planner as a ""Custom Camera"". Camera parameters for the 4p+ are listed below. Parameters for 4p and 3p sensors can be found here.
SlantRange data collections must be collected using automated flight planning in a grid style. Click here for a tutorial on flight planning.
Step 1: Open DJI Pilot and select Mission Flight
Step 2: Select Create a Route
Step 3: Select Mapping
Step 4: Once in the flight planning screen, change the camera type to ""Custom Camera"".
Rename the camera to SlantRange 4p+ and enter in the following for each parameter:
Photo Size (Width): 2048px
Photo Size (Height): 1536px
Sensor Size (Width): 7.07mm
Sensor Size (Height): 5.30mm

Set desired takeoff speed to 10 m/s. Set Upon Completion to ""Return to Home""
Step 6: Select advanced settings.
Change ""Side Overlap Ratio"" to what is listed in your flight profile. Match ""Frontal Overlap Ratio"" to sidelap.

Set ""Margin"" to 20m.
Example of incorrect course angle. Note the direction of the flight path.
Step 7: Name the mission and save the flight
Step 8: Follow standard procedure to turn on the aircraft, and start data capture on the sensor. When ready press the blue play button to begin the planned mission
Once the mission is completed, the drone will automatically return home. If you swap batteries, the mission will pause and resume where it left off.
